The climate of Geelong (Australia)
Geelong is a large port in the state of Victoria. Geelong is known for its National Wool museum and the Geelong Botanic Gardens. Geelong is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. Many tourists start their journey along this phenomenal road. The Great Ocean Road lies along the coastline and was made to honour the soldiers who fought in WWI. This road is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. There are wide views of the ocean. There are many attractions en route, such as‘The 12 apostles’, a group of rocks that tower high over the ocean.
Geelong has a moderate climate. Summers are dry, warm and sunny with temperatures round 23 degrees Centigrade. The chardonnay grape flourishes in this area and makes a great wine. Air humidity here is quite pleasant. During the fall evenings and nights can get quite cold. During the day temperatures are pleasant. Most of the rain falls in the spring period although winter months can have some precipitation too.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
