The climate of Sihanoukville (Cambodia)
Sihanoukville, also known as Kampong Som is a province in the southern part of Cambodia located on the Gulf of Thailand. The province is located between the Dâmrei or Elephant Mountains and the sea. Sihhanoukville is known for its beautiful beaches. The city is located on a bay, off the coast many small islands with beautiful beaches are situated. Many tourists travel here to get themselves pampered in one of the beautiful resorts. Sihanoukville has a monsoon climate with a rainy period from May until September. Temperatures are high all year round. During the monsoon temperatures may rise.
