The climate of London (Canada)
London is located in the Ontario province. The city was founded in
1800. Many old sites have been preserved and can still be visited
today such as the Covent Garden Market. London has a wet continental
climate. Because London is situated in the vicinity of the large lakes
there are four distinct seasons here. Summers are warm and humid which
makes things feel muggy. Winters are cold with temperatures around -30
degrees Celsius. Because of the wind from the lakes there are many
thunderstorms here. London gets about 997 millimeters of annual
precipitation.
