The climate of Toronto (Canada)
Toronto is the most densely populated city in Canada. Toronto is
situated on Lake Ontario and has about 2.5 Million residents. The
metropolis has several museums and many shops and possibilities for
going out. Toronto has a wet continental climate with four distinct
seasons. There is a large difference in daytime and night time
temperatures here. Because of the high density residential development
temperatures are a little higher here than in the surrounding
countryside. Precipitation is equally spread out over the year with a
peak during the summer. Precipitation mostly falls in the form of
heavy thunder storms. High temperatures in combination with high
humidity figures may feel unpleasant.
