The climate of Changchun (China)
Changchun is a large city located in the north eastern part of China. The city is situated on a railroad junction. Within the city limits several important industries can be found. The city is seen as the birthplace of the car and film industry. The surroundings are beautiful and very suitable for nature lovers. Large forests, mountains and lakes form a beautiful Chinese setting. Changchun has a continental climate. Winters are cold and windy and reasonably dry. During the winter temperatures are influenced by winds from Siberia. Summers are warm and wet. Moist air is supplied from lower situated areas with a tropical climate and monsoon rains which causes humidity figures to be very high.
