The climate of Harbin (China)
Harbin is situated on the Songhua River and is also known as Ice City.
The attractions of the city have much to do with ice and snow. There
is a world of ice and snow where the most beautiful ice structures and
ice sculptures can be admired. Harbin has a warm continental climate.
Differences in temperatures between summer and winter are extreme. Its
nickname says everything about temperatures during the winter. Winters
are dry and sunny. Most of the rain falls from May till September. In
combination with high temperatures during the summer this causes an
unpleasant feel.
