The climate of Sharm El-Sheikh (Egypt)
The seaside resort of Sharm El-Sheikh has a desert climate which means
summers are very hot and winters are mild. Because Sharm El-Sheikh is
situated between the Sinai Mountain and the Red Sea it has become one
of the most important tourist destinations in Egypt. A constant sea
breeze makes the extremely high temperatures bearable during the
summer. Just as in other parts of Egypt during the months March and
April sandstorms may occur: the Khasim. The diving and snorkeling
facilities are among the most beautiful ones in the world. The tourist
is spoilt for choice with magnificent four and five star hotels.
