The climate of Bournemouth (England)
Bournemouth is a coastal town in the county of Dorset. The city is known for its beaches. You can surf, swim and enjoy the beach here. A beautiful sea aquarium can be found here, which is well worth visiting. There also is an aeronautic museum and several art galleries. Bournemouth has an unstable climate. Because of the influence of the sea the weather may change suddenly. During the summer this may result in heavy short lived showers. During the summer a constant sea breeze has a tempering effect on the average temperature. Temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius on average. The weather during the winter is also influenced by the sea. It may get cold, but subzero temperatures are uncommon. Bournemouth gets quite a lot of rain.
