The climate of Val d'Isere (France)
Val d’Isère is a popular wintersport resort in the French Alps and is part of the district of Albertville. This region is of old one of the most important ski-regions of France and not for nothing it has been the location for various world cup competitions and in 2004 the world championships were held here. Also in the summer months you can ski here; then the activities are moved to the upper part of the glacier. In Val d’Isère one of the few four-star restaurants in the world is established namely Les Barmes de l ‘Ours. Val d’Isère is connected with Tignes with the ski-region Espace Killy.
