The climate of Goa (India)
Goa is the touristic beach federal state of India. If you want to find out everything about Indian culture, indulge in the old history and customs, then this is not the place. However if you would love to rest and relax, then this is the place to be! Goa is filled with luxurious resorts, fine hotels, wellness centers, luxurious restaurants and loungebars. The beach is long and wide and bordered with palmtrees. In spite of the crowded tourist places there are still enough spots where one can still enjoy the calm and the waves without being overrun by hordes of tourists. Dolphins swim in front of the coast and in the environment plenty of beautiful scenery can be admired.
The climate in Goa is a tropical savannah climate. This climate has a clear dry and wet period. Particularly in the summer falls much rain and there is a very high air humidity. Hard tropical rains can fall then. Up to 2500 mm a month. The wintermonths are practically completely dry. The temperature in the tropical savannah climate is constantly above 18 degrees almost throughout the year. The temperature on the coast of Goa is somewhat tempered by the cooling seabreeze.
