The climate of Kovalam (India)
Kovalam is situated on the Arabic sea in the federal state of Kerala and is one of the more touristic places in India. Quite a number of organized trips offer this place in their program. Thus you find a lot of large and luxurious resorts and hotels here . And the place has a large number of souvenir shops and obtrusive salesmen belonging to them. Still you can have a good rest and regain some energy after a long fatiguing trip through India. Especially in the somewhat quieter periods of the year.
Kovalam has a humid tropical climate. It has a monsoon period from June up to and including September. Due to its situation close to the equator the temperature is high rather constantly throughout the year.
