The climate of Negril (Jamaica)
Negril is located in the western part of Jamaica. This part of Jamaica is 2 to 4 degrees Celsius warmer on average than the north coast. Humidity figures are higher as well giving it a muggy feel. The sight of Negril is pretty much the picture postcard image of a tropical paradise because law states that no building may be higher than the highest palm tree. Whether you want to slumber on the beach, enjoy a form of water sports or want to play a game of golf there is an activity for everyone. From May to October Negril has its wet season. One should bear in mind that heavy rain storms may occur during this period.
