The climate of Mazatlan (Mexico)
Mazatlan is located in the federal state of Sinaloa on the Gulf of California. Mazatlan has a tropical climate with hot and wet summers and warm and dry winters. During the summer rainfall may come as a relief. Prior to a rainstorm humidity figures may rise to such high figures that it is hardly bearable. After the rain humidity figures rapidly drop to much more pleasant figures. Mazatlan is the closest resort to the United States of America on the Pacific. The lighthouse of Mazatlan, El Faro, is one of the best known lighthouses in the world and can be spotted from 60 kilometers.
