The climate of Zundert (the Netherlands)
Zundert is a small town located in the south western part of the province of North Brabant in the Zundert municipality. Among other villages in this municipality are: Achtmaal, Klein-Zundert, Rijsbergen and Wernhout. The famous painter Vincent van Gogh was born in Zundert. Several buildings have been dedicated to Vincent van Gogh, such as the Van Gogh Church and the van Gogh house. A flower parade is held annually on the first Sunday in September. This is the largest flower parade in the world and attracts about 70,000 people every year. Zundert has a moderate maritime climate influenced by the North Sea and the warm Gulf Stream. Because of its southerly location temperatures in Zundert are slightly higher on average than in other parts of the Netherlands. Precipitation is evenly spread out over the year.
