The climate of Kristiansand (Norway)
Kristiansand is located on the østergapet in the southernmost part of Norway. The city is an old naval port and was founded during late medieval times. The old port has been well preserved and offers a beautiful décor during a walk. You can also take a city train to explore the city. This train takes you through the center of the city along all important places of interest. Many museums and galleries can be visited in Kristianstad. Just outside the city a large zoo and an amusement park can be found. Because of its location in the southern part of the country temperatures are higher here than in other parts of Norway. However, Kristianstad does get much precipitation. Winters are fairly mild. Because of the influence of the warm Atlantic Gulf Stream extremely low temperatures are uncommon.
