The climate of Benalmádena (Spain)
Benalmádena is a popular tourist destination in the southern part of Spain on the Costa del Sol. The city is located in the Malaga province in the Andalusia region. Benalmádena is one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol. Just like many other cities on the Mediterranean Sea the city consists of two parts,. The old city is located several kilometers into the interior. Benalmádena Costa is located on the coast, this is where most tourists travel to. In the coastal area several attractions can be found, such as the Torre Quebrada, the Estupa de la Iluminación, Castillo de Colomares, a funfair and a skating rink. Benalmádena has a Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the Mediterranean Sea. Because of this influence extremes in weather are uncommon and temperatures are pleasant all year round. Annual precipitation figures are fairly low. However, during late autumn and early winter long lasting precipitation may occur. During the warmest day of the year an ever blowing sea breeze offers some cooling.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
