The climate of Tabora (Tanzania)
Tabora is a large city located in the central western part of Tanzania in the Tabora province of which it also is the capital. Tabora played an important rule during the 19th century slave trade. During WWI heavy battles were fought here. The city only attracts few tourists. If you do visit this city we advise you to buy the local honey.
Tabora has a tropical savannah climate with a distinct rainy period. Almost all annual precipitation falls from November till May. The rest of the year is as good as dry. Daytime temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius (86.0 degrees Fahrenheit). Nights are much cooler. During the night temperatures are around 15 degrees Celsius (59.0 degrees Fahrenheit).
