The climate of Kaprun (Austria) The village of Kaprun is located in the Zell am See district in
the federal state of Salzburg. The region is situated at an altitude
of 786 meters. Beginners and families can practice on the blue skiing
tracks. There is even a special area especially for families. A large
amount of black skiing tracks can be enjoyed here as well. On the
glacier a half pipe can be enjoyed. 138 kilometers of skiing tracks
can be found here in total divided over three areas: Kitzsteinhorn,
Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe. There is always enough snow here because
of the glacier which is situated on the Kitzsteinhorn. Even during the
summer the area is covered in a blanket of snow.
