The climate of Mayrhofen (Austria) Mayerhofen or Mayrhofen is located at an altitude of 630 meters in
the Zillertal, Tyrol. Mayrhofen is known for its Alpine tourism.
Mayrhofen is situated near the Hintertux glacier and Innsbruck. Other
attractions are Konigsleiten and Schwaz, both planetariums and the
Swarowski crystal world. During the winter this is a popular skiing
resort. During the summer you can go hiking, mountain biking and
amateur cave exploring. Mayrhofen is also used as a meeting point for
bikers. Mayrhofen has a continental climate with cold winters and warm
and wet summers. June and July are the wettest months with regular
showers. Please, bear in mind that the skiing tracks are at a higher
altitude where it may be much colder.
