The climate of Saint Hubert (Belgium)
Saint Hubert is a tourist center in the Belgian Ardennes. The
following places are also part of this municipality: Arville, Awenne,
Hatrival, Mirwart and Vesqueville. The city was named after the patron
saint of hunters. In October, November and December many hunting
parties take place here. Keep this in mind when cycling or walking
through the forests, you should look out for orange signs. In the
evening the game can be enjoyed in the local restaurants. Don’t be
surprised if you come across a wild boar being roasted on the
marketplace of one of the surrounding villages. Saint Hubert has a
moderate maritime climate which can be quite unstable; heavy rainfall
is not uncommon. Winters are mild with temperatures just above
freezing point on average.
