The climate of Plovdiv (Bulgaria)
The city of Plovdiv is located centrally in Bulgaria and has a
moderate continental climate. Winters are cool and summers are
fairly warm without getting too hot. Because of its location north
of the Rhodope Mountain range precipitation may either not be able
to reach Plovdiv or remain stationary depending on the direction in
which rain clouds are supplied.
