The climate of Bouar (Central African Republic)
Bouar is located in the western part of the Central African Republic
in the vicinity of the border with Cameroon. Bouar is located in the
Nana Mambéré prefecture of which it also is the capital. In the
vicinity of the city 70 groups of megaliths can be found which are on
the shortlist of the Unesco list of world heritage sites.
Bouar has a tropical savannah climate with slightly cooler summers
than the rest of the country. Bouar has one distinct rainy period from
March till October. During the rainy period humidity figures are
higher than during the rest of the year. Daytime temperatures are
around 30 degrees Celsius. During the night temperatures are 20
degrees Celsius on average.
