The climate of Lijiang (China)
Lijiang is an old city located in the southern part of China. The city
has been well preserved; the characteristic old Chinese houses can be
admired in their original state. Lijiang is a Unesco world heritage
site. The surroundings of the city are beautiful as well. Baishui
terrace is a nice example of a natural wonder. This is an area where
spring water flows over a sinter terrace, leaving behind travertine.
Lijiang has a moderate China climate. Winters are sunniest and driest.
Spring is a transitional season between the dry winter and the wet
summer. Summers are warm and wet causing a muggy feel. Form September
it gets drier and colder.
