The climate of Nanjing (China)
Nanjing is the capital of the province of Jiangsu located in the
eastern part of China. Several beautiful characteristically Chinese
buildings have been preserved, such as the Linggu Temple and the
buildings on the banks of Lake Moshou. Nanking is a vibrant, cultural
city with many museums, festivals and possibilities for going out.
Nanking has a warm maritime climate. Humidity figures are high all
year round which causes a muggy feel. Because summers here are very
warm Nanking has the nickname of being one of the ‘ovens of China’.
Winters are colder and drier. Autumn and spring are transitional
seasons. During the autumn there is a risk of tropical storms.
