The climate of Nanning (China)
Nanning is located in the southern part of China in the vicinity of
the border with Vietnam. Nanning is a good starting point to explore
the surroundings with beautiful hills and picturesque villages such as
Guilin. In the city itself several beautiful museums and parks can be
found. People who like to go shopping are in the right place; Nanning
is a real metropolis with many possibilities for shopping and going
out. The city is also known as the Green City because of the abundant
vegetation. Nanning has a warm maritime climate strongly influenced by
the monsoon. Summers are warm and wet. Winters are reasonably mild;
temperatures hardly ever drop below zero. The city is gets much rain
and is very windy.
