The climate of Dubrovnik (Croatia)
The city of Dubrovnik is located at the foot of the Srdj Mountain and
is seen as one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. The
entire city is a Unesco world heritage site. During its glory days
Dubrovnik was the most important cultural and economic center of the
Adriatic Sea and was also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. Summers
are dry and sunny; winters are mild and wet. During the summer the
Elifaten Islands are well worth visiting because of its pristine
natural environment. During the war the city of Dubrovnik suffered a
lot, but with the help of its citizens the city has been completely
restored.
