The climate of Slavonia (Croatia)
The Slavonia region consists of almost the entire north-eastern part
of Croatia. The area is quite flat and is situated at about 200 meters
above sea level. The region has a moderate continental or continental
climate with precipitation all year round, reasonably mild winters and
reasonably warm summers. Although precipitation can be recorded on
most of the days annual precipitation figures are not that high: about
600-900 millimeters of precipitation on average.
