The climate of Calvi (France)
The town of Calvi lies in the north-west of the Isle of Corsica.and is
the birth-place of the explorer Columbus. This little village used to
be a fishing-village but nowadays it almost entirely lives on tourism.
The climate of Calvi is a mediterranean climate. From July there is
hardly any rainfall anymore and the temperature rises considerably.
The winters are reasonably mild although it does freeze a couple of
days every year. In the spring and the autumn it can sometimes rain
heavily. Corsica is known for its massive heavy showers.
