The climate of Clermont-Ferrand (France)
The town of Clermont-Ferrand is the capital of the department
Puy-de-Dôme. This department is particularly characterized by a
number of volcanic craters together forming a chain with as most
famous part the mountain Puy-de-Dôme. Mainly known of course of
the Tour de France. This mountainchain provides a humid climate in
Clermont Ferrand. It rains more than average there and
particularly in the summermonths it can sometimes be humid. In the
summer the temperature is about 20 degrees. Of course it is
much colder on the tops of the chain..
