The climate of Massif Central (France)
The Massif Centralis an elevated area in the southern part of central
France, separated from the Alps by the river Rhône. It is
a mountain-ridge consisting of old volcanoes and tablelands. The area
has a semi land climate. The winters there are cold but the
spring begins already early and once the summer is at its zenith it
can get very warm. However the weather can differ very much
from place to place, this depends among other things on what side of
the mountain you are on and how the sun is situated in
respect of this mountain.
