The climate of Ediger Eller (Germany)
Ediger Eller is a small village located in the southwestern part of
the federal state of Rhineland Palatinate. It is a popular
destination for Belgian and Dutch tourists. Most tourists travel
here to admire the beautiful timber frame houses dating back to the
16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The surrounding region is known for
its white wines. In the vicinity of the city many wine producing
farms are situated. Here you can taste the local specialties. The
most famous building is the Kreuzkapelle (chapel) which is situated
on mount Ediger. Other attractions include Saint Martin’s Church and
Saint Hilarius’Catholic Parish Church.
Ediger Eller has a moderate maritime climate with pleasantly warm
summers and cool, but not really cold winters. This is mainly caused
by the influence of the warm Gulf Stream. Precipitation figures are
highest during the summer. During the winter precipitation may fall
in the form of sleet or snow.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
