The climate of Colva (India)
Colva is a busy seaside resort in the touristic federal state of
Goa.It has one of the longest beaches of the region. Both tourists and
local inhabitants like to make use of it and particularly in the
weekends it can get reasonably busy. In Colva however there is enough
to enjoy yourself. The little town has a variety of bars, restaurants
and accommodations where you can go out excellently.
Colva has a tropical savannah climate. This climate has high
temperatures throughout the year and from June the monsoon starts
here. This lasts mostly up to and including September, after which the
very mild winter begins. The high temperatures are somewhat tempered
by a cooling seabreeze.
