The climate of Miramar (India)
Miramar is situated in the touristic federal state of Goa.This is one
of the most visited seaside resorts in this federal state. The town is
situated on the Mandovi river. Every day lots of tourists take to the
beaches to enjoy the sun and the sea. Hence most buildings in the town
have a touristic character: many restaurants, hotels, resorts and
bars.
Miramar has a tropical monsoon climate. This climate has a rain period
from June up to and including September. Then the rain pours down in
heavy drenchers and sometimes it can even thunder heavily. The
temperature is equal throughout the year. Due to its situation by the
sea it does not warm up or cool down much. When the wind is west it
brings about some cooling.
