The climate of Netanya (Israel)
Netanya is located on the Mediterranean Sea and was founded in 1928
with the purpose to further develop Israel. Netanya is a medium-sized
city. The main source of income here is industry. However, there is
some tourist activity. The beaches are very beautiful and several
museums and galleries can be visited in the city. Netanya has a warm
Mediterranean climate with mild and wet winters. From March
temperatures slowly start to rise and precipitation figures start to
drop. Summers are pleasantly warm and are dry. Temperatures may rise
during the summer. However, because of its situation on the sea there
is an ever blowing sea breeze which slightly tempers temperatures.
