The climate of Verona (Italy)
Verona is located in the northern part of Italy to the west of Venice
and Padua. The city center is a Unesco world heritage site. The Adige
River flows through Verona. The city is connected by many bridges.
Verona offers many attractions such as the Roman amfitheater built
during the 1st century AD. In the Arena an annual opera festival is
held. The theater has 20,000 seats. Casa di Guilietta is famous
because of Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet. This is a popular
attraction for lovers. Lake Garda is located at 30 kilometers from
Verona. The climate is less influenced by the Mediterranean Sea.
Winters are colder than you may expect. During the summer temperatures
may rise up to 30 degrees Celsius on average.
