The climate of Monaco
The principality of Monaco is by many considered a part of France but it is an independent country enclosed by France. Most inhabitants of Monaco are foreigners who are mainly attracted by its favourable tax-climate. As for the weather the climate is also a bit of allright. The mediterranean climate guarantees agreeably warm summers and mild winters, whereas the sun can be seen pretty often throughout the year.

Rain falls particularly outside the summer season, although also in the summer months a bad day or a heavy shower is certainly possible. In the winter there can be a stray snow-shower, although this only very seldom occurs. If it snows at all then this snow already disappears the same day.

More climate information
Climate tables are useful but they don’t give an overall picture of the climate and possible weather conditions during a period of time. How high the chances are of hot or cold weather or hurricanes can often not be found in these tables. This is why we offer extra climate information per month. The information below is an average for Monaco.
