The climate of Boquete (Panama)
Boquete is situated in the interior of Panama. The region is known for
its coffee and citrus plantations and flower cultivation. Boquete is
not a vibrant city, but has the atmosphere of a peaceful mountain
village. Life here is quite simple with daily markets where local
farmers can sell their products. The surroundings of Boquete are
beautiful and ideal for active daytrips such as walking and rafting. A
National Park is situated in the vicinity of the village; here you can
go mountaineering. The volcano situated in this park has created about
7 craters. Boquete has a different climate than other cities in Panama
because of its altitude. However, the climate can still be classified
as tropical, especially where precipitation figures are concerned.
Because of the altitude at which Boquete is situated temperatures are
tempered. It is much colder on the top of the mountain.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
