The climate of Kraków (Poland)
Kraków is located in the southern part of Poland and is the former
capital of the country. The city center is a Unesco world heritage
site. Kraków is a beautiful old city full of atmosphere. During
Christmas many cribs can be admired hand made by Polish families.
Because of the many students that live here Kraków has an exhilarating
nightlife. Kraków has a moderate continental climate with little
annual precipitation. Summers are very warm here. During spring and
fall the weather is unstable. You may be enjoying pleasant weather in
one of the many parks one moment when you need your winter coat the
next. The best time for a city trip to Kraków is spring. Temperatures
are just fine then for strolling around the city.
