The climate of Benissa (Spain)
Benissa is a popular seaside resort in the eastern part of Spain in
the Alicante province in the Valencia region. Benissa is located on
the Costa Blanca and forms the link between Calp and
Moraira. The
coastline of the village consists of beaches, small bays, rocks and
several caves. Benissa is an old village with an authentic center
where the Cathedral de la Marina can be found. Benissa has a
Mediterranean climate strongly influenced by the Mediterranean Sea.
Because of this influence the climate of Benissa only has few
extremes. During the summer average daytime temperatures are around 30
degrees Celsius (86.0 degrees Fahrenheit) during the winter daytime
temperatures are 16-18 degrees Celsius (60.8-64.4 degrees Fahrenheit).
Especially during the summer the temperature of the sea is very
pleasant and suitable for swimming.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
