The climate of Los Cristianos (Canary
Islands / Spain)
Los Cristianos is one of the oldest seaside resorts located in the
southern part of Tenerife. During most days of the year the sun shines
exuberantly, wintry weather is uncommon, chances of precipitation are
low and temperatures are pleasant. All of this make Los Cristianos an
excellent sun destination. Chances of precipitation are highest during
the winter. However, precipitation figures are low. Summers are warm
and dry. The best time to visit Los Cristianos is either during the
summer or during fall because these periods are most suitable for a
sun and beach holiday. However, Los Cristianos can be seen as sun
destination all year round. Los Cristianos almost seamlessly merges
together with the very popular Playa de las Americas in the western
part of the resort.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression
of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain
period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather,
extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate
information for each month of the year:
