The climate of Victoria (Texas - United States of America)
Victoria is a city located in the southeastern part of the state of Texas. Victoria is located in Victoria County in the vicinity of the banks of the Guadeloupe River about 30 kilometers from the Gulf of Mexico. The urban area is home to more than 100,000 people. The University of Houston-Victoria is located in the city. The St. Mary’s Catholic church in Victoria is one of the oldest in the state of Texas. Victoria has a warm maritime climate strongly influenced by the Gulf of Mexico. Because of this subzero temperatures are uncommon in Victoria. During the summer average temperatures are just above 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). However, peaks in temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) are not uncommon. Most precipitation falls during spring.

More climate information
Climate figures are very useful but don’t present a general impression of the climate and the eventual weather circumstances within a certain period. The figures don’t always reflect the chance of wintry weather, extreme heat or hurricanes. That is why we offer useful extra climate information for each month of the year:
