The climate of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates)
The emirate of Sharjah is known for its conservatism. This emirate is
the least western oriented emirate in the UAE. The best time to visit
Sharjah is from October till April. During this period daytime
temperatures are mild and the evenings are cool. The rest of the year
climate is hot and moist which gives it an unpleasant feel. Sandstorms
are not uncommon here. They come from the Empty Quarter which is a
large desert area on the borderline with Saudi Arabia. This
neighboring emirate of Dubai is completely alcohol free.
