The climate of Mansa (Zambia)
Mansa is located in the northeastern part of Zambia in the province of
Luapula of which it is the capital. Mansa is situated in between the
Luapula River and Lake Bangweulu. During colonial times the city was
known as Fort Roseberry. Just outside the city the Mumbuluma Water
Falls can be found. The city itself offers little entertainment
besides a local market, a super market and a catholic church.
Mansa has a warm China climate with a distinct dry and a distinct wet
period. Temperatures are pleasant all year round. However, nights may
be cold. The local summer is the wettest period of the year.
